Hawaikirangi is a brand new dedicated studio space that is fit for purpose, hosts studio audiences and produces both small and large-scale studio content enabling the creation of audience-driven content, connection with our communities and audiences and working with our partners in a meaningful and impactful way. The space will be a vibrant, creative hub where our audiences, extended production community and kaimahi can create, connect with and celebrate Te Ao Māori and Māori content.
Creating a larger studio and production space where audience-centric content is created will also showcase broadcasting as a potential career pathway to our rangatahi and further support the need to ensure a workforce for tomorrow.
Our content, brand and relationships are all about people and serving their needs. Our role is to inspire and shape our nation's identity through the creative delivery of our stories, culture and unique voice. We create relevant, audience-centric, audience-driven content that connects our people to Te Ao Māori, Aotearoa, and the rest of the world.
