Hiria Pointon has extensive experience in policy and advisory in the public service including at senior and management level.

Her previous positions include Chief of Staff at Oranga Tamariki, Programme Director Māori Crown Relationships with Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission and Deputy Chief Executive Policy, Policy Director and Chief Executive Advisor at Te Puni Kōkiri Ministry of Māori Development.

In her current role as Chief of Staff, Hiria manages Te Tari o te Kaihautū|The Office of the CE including providing executive advice, information and support to the Kaihautū, and is also a key engager with our stakeholders. Hiria also manages Te Tīma Pūmanawa Tangata| People & Capability Team.
