
Jamie Tuuta is a respected director and business leader with extensive governance experience across iwi development, agribusiness, fishing, tourism, and Māori economic development. Of Ngāti Mutunga, Ngāti Tama, Ngāti Maru, Te Āti Awa, and Taranaki Tuturu descent, Jamie has held many leadership roles at numerous organisations, including Te Tumu Paeroa, Tourism New Zealand and Sealord Group. He currently chairs several iwi investment entities and the Taranaki Mounga Project, and co-chairs Pou Tahua, the economic arm of the National Iwi Chairs Forum. A recipient of the Sir Peter Blake Emerging Leadership Award, Jamie is recognised for his commitment to intergenerational wealth creation and sustainable opportunities that strengthen Māori communities and culture.
